To have a domain, you'll need to register the name, and it can't already be in use.
The prices for registering a domain have gone way down, last year they were $75+
I can get them for $27 per year.

A subdomain is an address within a domain. Its address looks like name.website.com
I can find you a subdomain for FREE.

Does Meier Web Designs host the web sites?

No, I research free web servers and place your site on the best one.
This is completely free, I only charge for web design.

What is a URL?

URL is the same as saying address.
URL is short for Universal Resource Link, which is geek jargon.
The URL can be Meier.20m.com or Meier.20m.com/FAQ.html.
Or anywhere you can get to on the Internet.

What if I make a site with Meier Web Designs and then I want to move it somewhere else?

No problem, you can move your site to where ever you want, when ever you want.
I can even set up your address so that if you move,
people using the old address will be sent to your new one.

What is HTML?

HTML is the code used to make web pages.
It stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.

What is HTTP?

HTTP is the electric language that is sent through the phone line when you are on the Internet.
It stands for Hyper Text Transport Protocol.
It is similar to other codes like FTP and XTTP.
